Racing at Bangor on Dee – Saturday 26th March
Bangor on Dee will be racing on Saturday 26th March, the first Saturday meeting of 2011, with a seven race card.
The weather for Saturday’s meeting looks like being bright and fine and that could impact on the going, which is currently Good, Good to Soft in places. Clerk of the Course, Ed Gretton, said, “with the dry weather as it is, we might need to water the course to ensure the going remains as Good as possible. We have had plenty of entries and hope to see some good fields on Saturday.”
Jeannie Chantler, General Manager for Bangor on Dee said, “This fixture always provides a great atmosphere following the Cheltenham Festival. Bangor on Dee is very lucky to have such loyal sponsors in NE Wales Unison and Tommy’s Darts International. Tommy’s Darts has sponsored many of the races on this card for the past 15 years, the Tommy Shone Handicap Hurdle being the feature race of the day.
