The first Saturday fixture of the season at Bangor-On-Dee; 25 March 2017, saw the opening of a brand-new Owners and Trainers facility. Looking to emulate the successful award-winning model at sister racecourse Chester, major investment has been committed to the Owners and Trainers experience at Bangor-On-Dee.
The new facility offers visiting Owners, Trainers and guests sumptuous surroundings from which to enjoy a complimentary two course carvery meal and beverages (including wine), as well as a base from which to enjoy their day. The facility provides an excellent vantage point to watch their star runners take centre stage on the undulating track that unfolds across the majestic Welsh landscape.
The walls of the facility tell the success stories of former runners, riders and owners who have gone on to win renowned races at courses around the country including the Grand National at Aintree, Gold Cup at Cheltenham and the King George at Kempton.

Bangor-On-Dee provides a bespoke service to each visiting party, as soon as the horse is declared, a dedicated point of contact is provided to deal with all lunch and ticket bookings and anything else guests may require.
