Disabled Racegoers

At Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse we pride ourselves in providing modern facilities for all our racegoers. With this in mind, we are pleased to highlight our disabled policy and facilities for 2012. Limited hard-standing parking is available in the Bangor-on-Dee car park, facilitating easy access to the turnstiles. Alternatively, there are designated disabled car parking areas in all car parks.

The Racecourse is single storey, making all public areas easily accessible to disabled racegoers. A raised viewing platform is provided in the Paddock enclosure. Disabled amenities are available in all areas and enclosures of the racecourse. Aide dogs are welcome. Disabled racegoers will be charged the standard ticket price, but if they are accompanied by a carer, the carer may enter designated areas free of charge.
