A season highlight at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, Ladies Day makes a welcome return to the track on Friday 2 August. The annual fixture is always readily attended, attracting crowds of enthusiastic racing fans and those looking to up the style stakes.
This year is set to be no different as the Racecourse’s Wynnstay and Paddock Restaurants both sold out for this fixture back in May. To keep up with demand, a new pop-up restaurant package has been unveiled exclusively for Ladies Day.
The restaurant will be situated within the paddock marquee, offering a prime viewing facility with a balcony that overlooks the jump racing action. Racegoers are invited to indulge in a three-course lunch followed by coffee and chocolates and can expect all of the privileges that Bangor-on-Dee offer their hospitality guests, including a reserved table throughout the day, a Racecard, and betting facilities all within the venue.
Guest are invited to take their seats within the marquee upon gates opening at 11.30am. The first race of seven goes under starter’s orders at 1.40pm, racing runs throughout the afternoon with the final race concluding the day’s schedule at 5.00pm.
Those wishing to reserve a place within the new pop-up facility should do so without hesitation as seats are limited and badges are expected to sell out. Contact the hospitality team on 01978 782 083 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The day also features fierce competition off the track with a Ladies Day best dressed competition. The much anticipated details of prizes and judges are due to be announced next month, follow @BangorRaces on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for all the latest information in the run up to raceday.
