Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse Named as a Finalist in Two Categories at the RCA Showcase Awards

Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is thrilled to have been named as a Finalist in two categories at this year’s RCA Showcase Awards.

North Wales’ only racecourse has been shortlisted for the Food & Beverage Award and the RCA/ROA Owners’ Racecourse of the Year accolade.

The Racecourse Association’s (RCA) marquee event, which will be held at Aintree Racecourse on Thursday 23 November, celebrates excellence and innovation amongst British Racecourses – in partnership with Great British Racing, the Racing Post, the Racing Foundation and Racing Together.

The Food & Beverage award identifies excellence and innovation in racecourse food and drink quality and service, with Bangor-on-Dee’s introduction of a new Food Court being shortlisted in that category by a panel of judges.

The winner of the RCA/ROA Owners’ Racecourse of the Year award, meanwhile, is decided upon by racehorse owners, who are asked to nominate and score racecourses based on ownership experience with and without a runner, plus the raceday experience.
