Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is a left handed jumps racecourse, nestled in picturesque countryside and surrounded by idyllic Welsh hills. Bangor-on-Dee was first used for horse racing in 1859 and over a century and a half later, horses still race on virtually the exact same track.

Rails: 2m 4f bend and bend into the home straight are shared bends and have been moved out 2yrds since last meeting. Paddock bend and home straight rails in same position as last meeting. Distances tbc.

Weather

3mm rain last week. Warm, dry, and sunny for the remainder of the week with temperatures reaching 34°C. Amber heat warning in place on Wednesday and Thursday. Localised showers forecast early hours Friday, cloudier thro’ the day but still warm with temperatures between 28°C/30°C.

Watering:30mm applied last week. Saturday – 10mm Sunday – 10mm Monday -10mm Watering continuing today.
