There is another exciting themed fixture ahead to conclude the month of national hunt racing at the course and much anticipation ahead for the first Gentleman’s Day scheduled for Friday 30 August. Sponsored by Crichton Bespoke, the day boasts plenty of action on and off the track, with six national hunt races making up the card, the first going under starters orders at 1.40pm, last concluding the day at 4.40pm. Followed by two races from The Charles Owen Pony Racing Series at 5.15pm and 5.25pm.

The day hosts a Gentleman’s Best Dressed competition^, the first of its kind for Bangor-on-Dee, supported by the title sponsor. Following the success of Ladies Day earlier this month, gentlemen will be expected to pull out all the stops in a battle for the converted first place.

Gentleman who are dressed to impress and looking to enter the competition should visit the photobooth on the lawn in front of the Weighing Room to have their photo taken before the competition closes at 3pm. Every entrant will go home with a printed memento and finalists will be contacted later in the afternoon.
