NEW FOR 2025: FREE coach from Chester Racecourse to Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse

Racegoers can look forward to an exciting new travel option, as a free coach service will run our sister-track, Chester Racecourse, to Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse for selected fixtures.

The coach will depart from the Holiday Inn car park at Chester Racecourse and return after the day’s racing concludes, offering a convenient and cost-free way for fans to enjoy the action at Bangor-on-Dee. Free parking will also be available at Chester for those using the service.

Seats on coach will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is recommended. Exact departure and return times are yet to be confirmed and will be announced approximately 2 days before racing on the individual fixture pages – Racing – Bangor-On-Dee Racecourse.

This initiative aims to make race day travel easier and more accessible for visitors, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. And also, the perfect opportunity to still enjoy a day at the races while you wait for the Chester 2026 season to start.
