Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse has introduced a music only ticket for next month’s September Meeting featuring a performance by a renowned Queen tribute act.
Flash: A Tribute to Queen will be bringing the iconic band’s high energy and timeless tunes to North Wales’ only racecourse on Tuesday 5 September, where all you’ll hear is Radio Ga Ga… and a host of other Queen classics in an electrifying gig.
The entertainment follows a thrilling, six-card jumps meeting at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, offering an exciting line-up of music and sport for those that want it all.
However, for those unable to attend the afternoon’s racing, the racecourse has now created a music only ticket option for £10, which provides entry to the racecourse from 5.30pm to watch Flash: A Tribute to Queen perform.
Once quoted by the BBC for being ‘as close as it gets’ to the original band, Flash features some of the finest musicians from several Queen tribute shows, established in 2001 to capture the unique style and energy of the legendary group.
Patrick Chesters, General Manager at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, said:
“While we would love everybody to join us for all aspects of The September Meeting, we understand that some guests may be under pressure to get across to the racecourse in time due to work and family commitments.
“That’s why we’ve introduced this music only ticket option too, ensuring that nobody misses out on the opportunity to join us for a show-stopping performance by Flash: A Tribute to Queen.”
Speaking ahead of their visit to Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, Flash: A Tribute to Queen added:
“This will be our first time performing at Bangor-on-Dee and we’re all super excited to bring a little extra magic to the day.”
