Racing | Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse

Richard Johnson, Donald McCain, Jonjo O’Neill, all names you’d expect to associate with racing’s biggest festivals, yet Bangor-on-Dee is graced with the presence of some major players for every fixture in the calendar.

As the winter season turns to spring, racing at Bangor provides the perfect day out for all of the family with free admission for children and dedicated themed days such as Family Funday, with free entertainment and Ladies’ Day.

In addition to our racing calendar, we are also home to Point-to-Point racing on the inside track of the racecourse. Relaxed, casual and down to grass roots, these fixtures are chargeable by car, creating the perfect opportunity to pack a picnic and even the well-behaved family dog is welcome.
