Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse Introduces New Food Court For Racegoers

Published on 12 April 2023

Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse has enhanced its offering for racegoers by investing in a new Food Court dining area.

The racecourse, which welcomed approximately 3,000 guests to its Spring Meeting last month, has opened the facility within its Paddock Enclosure to provide a dedicated hub where friends and family can socialise between races.

Featuring a range of food outlets, serving locally sourced pies, fresh fish and chips and burgers from the grill, including vegetarian options, the Food Court has a raft of tabled seating and four newly-refurbished wooden chalets, named after notable racehorses to win at Bangor-on-Dee.

To celebrate the opening of the new area, the racecourse is offering a special advance priced Punter’s Package for the Spring Saturday Meeting on 22 April, which offers a ticket for the Paddock Enclosure, a portion of fish and chips and a racecard for just £30. That’s a saving of 25%.

There are seven thrilling races to watch across the afternoon, plus live entertainment throughout.

Patrick Chesters, General Manager at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, said:

“The introduction of the new Food Court is a welcome addition to our race day at Bangor-on-Dee. We’re always striving to enhance the all-round race day experience and would love people to come out and try the new facility at our upcoming Spring Saturday Meeting.”

General admission tickets for the Spring Saturday Meeting are on sale at the advance price of £9 for Open Course and £19 for the Paddock Enclosure. Children aged 17 and under attend for free.
